Project 6 : ANALYSIS OF HBP SPACES (COMPOSITION)

Established in 1972 by the late Tan Sri Professor Hamzah Sedut, the Vice Chancellor of USM, the nation's second oldest university, the School of Housing, Building and Planning (HBP) is one of the few building construction-based educational centres in Malaysia that is multi-disciplinary in nature. The School was modeled along the lines of what Professor Koenigsberger and Markus had envisioned to meet the needs o a developing country. Even though over the years it has evolved to cater to a more widely accepted precept that clearly demarcates professional boundaries, the inter-disciplinary tradition is still maintained in all its undergraduate courses and also postgraduate programmes in seven disciplinary namely Planning, Architecture, Interior Design, Building Technology, Building Surveying Construction Management and Quantity Surveying
As far as i am concern,
HBP only owned 4 blocks (E40, E49, E08 and E38).
E40 - Lab, Resource Centre, Studios
E49 - Main Office, Lectures Room, MSc Studios
E08 - Studios, Lectures Room
E38 - Conference Hall, Researcher Room
The rest (E48, E47 and E15) not belong to us.

We only use E48 for lectures.
